BOARD MEETING AGENDA

February 21, 2026

The next meeting of the Board of Directors of the Illinois Council of the Blind (ICB) will take place as a virtual meeting on Zoom on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 9 a.m.  We plan on being finished by noon.

The agenda is as follows:

  1.  Call to order.
  2. Roll call of the board and introduction of guests – Karyn Campbell, Secretary. 
  3. Review and approval of agenda – Ray Campbell, President.
  4. Review and approval of the minutes from the November 15, 2025 board meeting – Karyn Campbell, Secretary.
  5. Ratification of email vote for ICB to sign onto a support letter for the Cogswell-Macy Act.
  6. Treasurer’s report – Renee Zelickson, Treasurer.
  7. Office Manager’s report – Maggie Mogged, ICB Office Manager.
  8. President’s report and ACB Update – Ray Campbell, President.
  9. Website Updates.
  10. Other updates.
  11. Affiliate Updates – an opportunity for ICB affiliates to briefly report on anything they want to share with the board.
  12. Committee reports (will need motion to approve all of them en mass):
  13. Membership Committee – Bryan Dufelmeier, Chair
  14. Blind Services Planning Council (BSPC) update – Karyn Campbell and Sharon Howerton, ICB Representatives
  15. Fundraising Committee – Marla Chorney, Chair
  16. Convention committee – Karyn Campbell and Rachel Schroeder, co-chairs.
